Tackling Gender-Based Violence: Film screening and Panel Discussion

We have exciting news! We have partnered with the Ontario Bar Association to bring you an accredited screening & panel discussion of the smallest steps!

The event will be held both virtually, and in-person in Toronto, Ontario, at the OBA Conference Centre (20 Toronto Street, 2nd Floor) this fall! The event will include a screening of our film and a panel discussion with OBA’s expert faculty to unpack:

  • Forms of gender-based violence and how to identify them
  • The intersection of gender-based violence and the legal system – family and criminal law
  • Practical advice for lawyers handling cases involving gender-based violence
  • And avenues to advocate for change

There will also be an opportunity to network with your fellow attendees!

In addition to attending an incredibly inspiring and engaging event, you’ll also gain 2.5 CPD hours:

  • 1h 15m of EDI content
  • 30m of Professionalism content
  • 45m of Substantive content
